Des Roche: Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Des Roche formed Fuel tank and Pipe in 2006 with the vision of providing a turn key service for fuel storage, piping and delivery systems in Australia.

Originally a pipe fitter in Ireland, Des immigrated to Australia in the early 1970’s and developed a professional background in construction of onshore and offshore fuel and oil installations. His experience includes:

• Former Construction Superintendant for a privately owned company that was a preferred supplier to Mobil Australia.
• Extensive industry experience with Shell and Mobil.
• Specialist advice for the design and construction of commercial and industrial fuel and oil installations.

Fuel Tank and Pipe was established to provide turnkey solutions to the petroleum storage sector, and provide a quality cost effective alternative to the market.

Des is currently a committee member of the Petroleum Industry Contractors’ Association
